Chitwan
Chitwan National Park has ling been one of the county's treasures if natural wonders. The park is situated in south central Nepal covering 932 sq. km. in the subtropical lowlands of Mahabharata – extending over an area of 175 sq. km. in 1963 the area of south of rapit river was demarcated as a rhinoceros sanctuary. It is the first national park of Nepal . The Park is home to many wild animals like one – horned rhinoceros, royal Bengal tiger, wild elephant, four – horned antelope, dolphin, Gharial, crocodile, Python, etc.
